So the cost is roughly equal to the USA military budget. I can we allow voters to choose which one we fund? I would rather fund drawdown then military build up.

@MrWildBrew I would be completely in favor of closing the loophole the oil industry uses. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/07/oil-tax-break.asp There are some we could start with. But unfortunately the GOP seems to think taxing the little people and removing taxes for the wealthy is the right solution judging by they last round of taxes law.

Salterino Kripperino why do you think rebuilding our energy economy based on local renewable energy will distort the USA? Solar now employees 200,000 Americans alone as apposed to 50,000 in the coal industry and the solar industry doesnt kill it's workers with black lung. Tesla makes the most American made car in the Model 3 unlike GM that is closing factories in North America and shipping jobs to Mexico to build Blazers. So who is destroying America? Oh right the ff Industry that pollutes our air our ground water and kills it's workers by filling their lungs with coal and quartz dust.

@ATROFlAR I am willing to bet you have never read a IPPC report on the topic or you would know. That the scientists are not paid as you put it. The ones infact who are paid are the oil company think tanks which spreed misinformation on the topic. That would either by your boss or the people you get your misinform from.
