The real crime is that as a society we think it is normal for companies to return billions of dollars to rich people who don't work at the company and most have probably never even set foot inside a company while the workers who do the labor to earn that money don't get a living wage. Publicly traded company and wall street is just a tool for the wealthy to make indentured servants out of the rest of us.
