@frankd.506 pro union would have been forcing Nancy Pelosi to put the sick leave in the same bill. Splitting it into two bills was her being the master politician convincing people like you that she is on your side while doing the bidding of Warren Buffett

Force the GOP and Manchin to own the failure not cowardly splitting the good things off so they die in the Senate while the evils pass. That is emailing bad things. As to your second question could Biden address the sick time with an ex order? The answer is yes he could he could rewrite the Obama order that gave sick leave to all federal contractors. All he has to do is close the loophole that Obama wrote into that order as an exemption for the railroad industry who are federal contractors.

@frankd.506 the only way to move the party left is to implement rank choice voting and force them left with canadates that being out progressives to vote their values before their fears. The fact that the Democratic party doesn't even mention they have the ability to fix the sick leave for the railroad workers by altering an ex order written by the last Democratic administration when Biden was the VP tells you it isn't a priority. Just like not extending Medicare to cover everyone during a global pandemic tells you there will never be a crisis big enough for them to implement Medicare for All

If you want a party to fight for your union and the working class get the union to force through a ballot referendum for ranked choice voting so we can have more parties and end the duopoly owned by the wealthy
