  13. I would argue that the Judge in Colorado did hear evidence on the legal issue of Trump and the 6th being an insurrection. Her ruling is a legal finding that he was involved in an insurrection. That was his day in court on the issue. There is legal precedence for applying the 14th amendment without a criminal finding of insurrection against the person who was disqualified. Ultimately the Supreme Court will have to rule on if Trump is or isn't disqualified under the 14th amendment and it should apply to all 50 states equally as we all follow the same constitution which is why the Supreme Court must rule on the case to uphold the rule of law. If they allow some states to interpret the qualifications under the constitution differently in the same election we don't have a consist rule of law.
