  1. VP Harris has the authority to put the $15 minimum wage back in the bill. The parliamentarian is only an adviser to Harris as the VP she has the authority to exnore that advice. Not having $15 minimum wage in the budget reconstruction process is a choice by the vice president nothing less.

That is pure unregulated greed of maximum profits in in capitalism. The only question the drug companies ask is how much will someone sacrifice to not die and where is it most profitable to let a large number suffer and die for our maximum return on investment from those who can afford to live.

  12. I was with Bernie right up to the give us more Democrats line. We know what the Democratic party did with a supermajority. We got a Heritage foundation healthcare plan. We need rank choice voting and the people's party to move the political spectrum left.

  13. Medical bankruptcy is the goal of a for profit healthcare system. They have failed to maximize profits until you are forced to file bankruptcy to protect your most valuable asset your health. This is why a profit motive has no place in healthcare.

Asking how these people will pay for their morgue or rent and their cobra health insurance plan now that they no longer get a pay check or employer contribution to their health insurance seems like a timely problem for our government to address. The UK is paying 80% of displaced workers income plus providing single payer healthcare. Denmark is paying 100% of unemployed workers salaries during this pandemic plus providing single payer healthcare. The USA the wealthiest nation on earth is paying $1,200 per tax payer means tested one time payments and offering companies loans to keep companies whole during this pandemic. Other countries figured out that is extortion and their government setup a socialist healthcare system where there is some form of single payer system because it benefits all of society to make sure we are healthy. Not just a few wealthy capitalists to profiteer off the illnesses of others.
