Two decades ago I was told in a large group meeting by the CEO of a multinational corporation that payroll is a cost to be minimized. This is nothing new the barrons of industry have been squeezing the working class for decades

@iamstartower that wasn't what the CEO said he wasn't replacing anyone he simply wasn't willing to match inflation. Try reading before making a strawman argument because you totally missed the point of the comment I made.

@jw7075 they should look at value added and productivity. Because telling people you don't value their labor tells them they don't need to put in more effort. Which means the company gets less profits.
