  3. The problem is when they make the discount sale they have to put the loss on the books. So long as they hold the inventory they can claim it is an asset worth more on the books.

  4. If the dealer has a 2022 it has deprecated just look at KBB for the value. They will have to accept the loss or file bankruptcy as the asset has a real world value that is far below the asking price.
