Crickett mass eviction yup getting those $600 checks she spent 7 months working for will definitely address that problem when people are $5000 behind on avg. But you can't understand why a few more days is worth waiting after 7 months to get $2000???? Wow what a weak ass argument you have to take an approach everyone knew would fail.
1
The first stimulus bill gave the barrons of industry the equivalent of $23,000 per American citizen. Why should the voters settle for $600 after the wealthy elite got trillions? This is class warfare and my class is winning- Warren Buffett
1
If the DNC sells the Nomination to Bloomberg I will write in Bernie Sanders then register Green party.
1
There is a very simple solution to this. If we get Medicare for All the veterans will get covered for 100% of their illnesses same as every other American. Not that we shouldn't do more to compensate our veterans simply that this is one more problem we can fix with the same legislation.
1
Unfortunately for you we exported our income inequality through neoliberalism and globalization.
1
Perfect example of the conservative mindset. It was all fun and games putting party over country until the president sent a mob to their work place to kill them. All the sudden it become personal as they experience the results of their keeping trump in office first hand.
1
Jeff Bezos is worth more than the GDP of 140 countries. He can definitely pay more taxes.
1
We need to support Shahid Buttar to replace Nancy Pelosi. She is refusing to fight to save the courts.
1
Krystal nailed it with the people who didn't vote last time. The last election I voted in was the first Obama campaign because it was the last time I had any hope in a candidate actually standing up against the olargacry. By the end of Obama's first term I realized that he might have offered change you could believe on but not change you could actually have. Bernie Sanders is the first candidate who will actually give us change we need. If he doesn't get the nomination there is no way I will reward the olargacry with a vote for Bloomberg. The 12 wealthiest person in the USA is never getting a vote from me I refuse to support the lesser of two evil olargachs.
1
Medicare already covers him. Bloomberg is literally spending $400 million to make sure no one under 65 gets the same healthcare the government provides for him
1
So one shooter event on Capitol hill and there are 4x as many troops in DC as we have in Iraq and Afghanistan. How many school shootings and all we get is thoughts and prayers for our children.
1
There are only 3 candidates so I can't finish worse than 3rd. Those will be famous last words if he finishes behind Pete or Amy in any races do to early voting.
1
@RiamsWorld that is what I figured I became eligible a few days ago and haven't bothered putting my name on the list yet as I work at home on a small farm. I will do it soon now that the orginal rush has probably finished crashing signup system.
1
By this womans theory centrism was the loser in Iowa because 2 of the top 3 where the most progressive candidates. Two can play that game...
1
Packfan69 so tell me how did fear mongering about voting against trump work in 2016? As the old saying goes those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The last 3 election cycles the status quo candidates lost. Yet for some crazy reason you believe the status quo candidate is the right choice. When we are faced with a pandemic you want to elect a president who doesn't believe in Medicare for All. Great idea. Our healthcare system is as we speak being overwhelmed and the government is building temporary hospitals. Our for profit insurance companies have to be days to months from bankruptcy. But you want the canadate who took donations from the health insurance companies. I am willing to bet that most voters will wake up to the reality that there is nothing pragmatic about an incremental solution to a catastrophic problem.
1
Packfan69 oh by the way Biden's losing streak just started. He lost spectacularly with results reported yesterday from Americans abroad. It seems people who have seen how single payer healthcare systems works don't support him.
1
Packfan69 you you Biden Bros are really mean. When will Biden apologize for your mean behavior? Warren wants to know.
1
Packfan69 you didn't tell me how well did the Trump is more evil than me platform work out for Hillary? You haven't explained why you think after three elections in a row of losing to the change canadates you think the corporatist is the right choice?
1
Packfan69 so your plan is that Trump failed so bad even Biden can win? Wow what a low bar. Good luck with that you should check out trumps approval ratings since the pandemic started it has gone up not down. You clearly learned nothing from the last 3 election cycles. Have a nice day.
1
Snow ghost wow trolling must be slow these days that post was a month old.
1
Trump making America #1 in death and destruction.
1
If Bernie Sanders enters the convention with the most delegates and isn't the Nominee the DNC will hand Trump 4 more years. People won't fall in line a second time behind the olargacry.
1
So all it took was a $600 check from the government for reddit to crash a billionaire hedge fund??? 🤣🤣🤣

@dwu9369 you must not follow the news Covid vaccination: Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium 'closed by protests' A Covid-19 vaccination centre at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles was forced to close for an hour on Saturday after protests by anti-vaccine and far-right groups, local media report. Around 50 protesters stalled motorists who had been waiting for hours. The demonstrators carried placards decrying the effectiveness of the vaccine. Protesters told people to "turn back", while one man shouted: "You're a lab rat", the Los Angeles Times reported. Google can help you find more
1
@dwu9369 I know a few who said the elderly have to die for the economy. The GOP has a pretty sad track record with respect to the pandemic including ex president bleach.
1
@dwu9369 I said he said Americans would have to die for the economy which wasn't stellar handling of the pandemic. But you seem to have a problem with comprehension
1
@PaintedCavern what a stupid strawman argument. People don't file bankruptcy because of eating at a restaurant.
1
Snow ghost you need to stop listening to insurance company propaganda and go talk to people who live in countries with single payer systems. I have traveled enough to know that they have better health outcomes at half the cost per capita. The wait lines Bull Shit is just that. Today in the USA people wait at home too scared to take their kid to the hospital because living paycheck to paycheck they can't afford a $400 emergency let alone a $2000 deductible. If you seriously believe that patients in Canada wait 6 months to get emergency treatment for their children you are a clueless idiot. I suspect you are just a disengaged troll.
1
@PaintedCavern no one is forcing you to get healthcare from the government. Medicare for All is health insurance from the government. You know the most popular program our government offers to citizens over 65 today. So stop fearmongering. People on Medicare today get their healthcare from the same hospital everyone else goes to the only difference is that Medicare pays instead of for profit insurance companies denial of service notices being sent to people who paid for for profit insurance companies. Oh as to bankruptcy please file bankruptcy and tell me how well that works out for you because acting like that is good for people is beyond disengaged it is flat out gaslighting.
1
@PaintedCavern you are simply wrong about how healthcare works in Canada for example. I have many friends who live there. They don't wait months for care. That is nothing but fearmongering.
1
@PaintedCavern here is some information about single payer from Canada and how the system works. https://www.commonwealthfund.org/publications/podcast/2018/oct/truth-about-waiting-see-doctor-canada
1
@PaintedCavern every country rations care. In a single payer system they do it based on medical need here we do it based on personal wealth. I believe the former is much more human and Christian. But clearly you feel your wealth gives your priority. Have a nice night.
1
Agency in Repose we are also the wealthiest nation on earth so it is tragic that you think the country with the greatest wealth per capita cannot accomplish what Canada the UK France Tiawan Australia Norway Sweden Denmark Germany Japan ... the list goes on has been able to do for their citizens with one form or another of single payer healthcare. The fact that it would save our society 450 billion dollars per year while covering 100% of our population is just iceing on the cake. But then right wing propaganda never let's facts get on the way.
1
@Fizzlenog I had a dead cat once it did far less damage then either political party
1
Holding in person voting during a pandemic is paramount to releasing a biological weapon on your own citizens. We need to hold these election officials criminal liability for the war crimes they are committing by not switching to a 100% absentee ballot.
1
Why the film is totally out of date as far as renewable energy. The entire argument against renewable energy in that film amounts to I want to a renewable energy powered event where they didn't plan enough storage so it is impossible to have storage. Exnoring the fact that many people live off grid with solar and that we now have grid scale storage. Infact we have had grid scale solar for decades in the form of pumped storage because nuclear power doesn't ramp well and requires grid scale storage.
1
American Avenger that is total BULLSHIT this is a standalone bill to simply change the payment from $600 per American citizen to $2000. You need to get your facts straight because you come across as ignorant when you don't.
1
@Lessk69 nice to know you live a life of privilege. 1 in 3 American are worried about eviction but hay you don't know them personally so no worries.
1
@Lessk69 🤣🤣🤣🤣 If only the working poor would get another job. You sound just like Bush telling the woman working 3 jobs how uniquely American.
1
American Avenger rationalize all you want there is no pork in the stand alone bill. There is pork in what Mitch McConnell wants to add though so you are half right the democratic party passed something that was a clean bill but Mitch McConnell is not willing to let that get votes on unless he can add his pork. So yes one party is definitely doing what you say just not the party you think in this case.
1
@fritoboat13 I listened to trump tell us that he always wanted to downplay the pandemic. I listened to him say it would magically go away. I listened to trump say that doing nothing would result in 2 to 5 million dead Americans. I listened to trump say that he knew it would kill 5% of infected Americans. Apparently you where not listening when trump told you he knew he would kill upwards to 5 million Americans but doesn't care his path forward is depending on herd immunity killing 5% of all infected Americans in the process. And believing in magic.
1
@fritoboat13 but all other leaders in the world have so far had less deaths and less infections then the usa. Trump blocked the usps from mailing out PPE to every single American household. That is one of the things that helped Tiawan keep their economy open and kids in school. Their government provided the masks the citizens needed. Trump made a point of not using masks and convincing his base they are bad. You will notice I don't defend the corporate Democrats but there is definitely a difference between the two parties at the moment. Neither one is up to the challenges we face as a society but one party is actively denying science and the reality that we face problems in the first place. One party is actively fighting to dismantle the government and take away the very tools our society needs to address the problems we face. That is crystal clear when you see how the GOP has responded to the pandemic. The only thing that both parties have been able to agree on is giving trillions of dollars to their donors the wealthy Americans have grown more wealthy. Because as Warren Buffett stated it is class warfare and his class is winning. That said I will vote for a party that believes in science. The rest of the world has shown us how they handled the pandemic. We have 4% of the worlds population and 25% of the worlds deaths. That is a failure of leadership starting at the very top and followed by Mitch McConnell sitting on legislation for months which would have helped address the problem. I am not saying the house bill was perfect far from it but simply stopping the process and refusing to bring legislation to the floor for discussion is Mitch McConnell doing nothing while 200,000 Americans died. He has earned his self appointed name as the Grim Reaper.
1
Neoliberalism at it's finest. What we need is $2000 per month until the pandemic is over with 70% of the population vaccination so we can get back to work. What we got is a party telling us if we give them control of the Senate they will give us a $2000 check and then not even doing that only giving you $1400. Because apparently they need to keep the rest for their donors.
1
Delegate count today Bernie Sanders 45 Pete 25 Biden 15 So even if you add up Pete and Biden they still come up short compared to Bernie Sanders.
1
Mitch McConnell calling it bad means the donors didn't get everything.
1
We need national rank choice voting. Maine has already done this and it will end the spoiler argument as the candidate who is most in line with the 3rd party candidate will be the second choice.
1
We need to keep pushing the politicians for Medicare for All. Let then know no one will accept their half measure not the insurance companies and not the voters.
1
@Edgar Miller Medicare for All saves money according to every single study and every other developed country in the world which has a single pay system. Turns out when you remove a profit motive you lower costs.
1
If Mitch McConnell can't find $2000 for the avg American then by all means let Trumps veto of the military budget stand because apparently Mitch McConnell doesn't think we can afford it.
1
The centrist kept telling me that no empathy Joe was the most electable. They clearly don't need my support I will be voting green party.
