If enough progressives refuse to vote there will simply be a second round of voting. Even David Sorta admitted that to Jimmy Doore on his show. This is how politics works you demand something for your vote. But I do agree Barbara Lee would by my first choice to challenge Nancy Pelosi for leadership. Regardless until one person gets a majority of the house to vote for them they will simply have to hold another vote.

  14.  @streettrout855  I worked as a controls engineer for 20 plus years and saw plenty of manufacturing capacity shipped over seas. I was lucky in my area people with controls experience could find work at different companies but I understand your situation. Greed has killed our society and manufacturing capacity. I hope we will see renewable energy as the solution. It is pretty hard to ship wind and solar installation over seas. Local renewable energy would mean many good paying local jobs.

  15. I have already joined the people's party and am fighting a rank choice voting. I donated to Nina Turner because she supports the same issues I believe in but I have zero faith that we can move the two establishment parties away from their sugar daddy corporate bribes.

  25. Ryan is wrong there are not 10 Republicans willing to vote for any minimum wage increase. Either Biden tells Harris to go against the bad advice of the parliamentarian now and gets us $15 or he sets the standard that it can't be passed in budget reconciliation and we don't get it. Not fighting and getting $15 now is how the Democratic party will lose in 2022 and 2024.

  40. Remember before this last bill the government spent $32,000 per every single American citizen in pandemic response funds. So ask yourself would you and the economy be better off today if they had just paid that $32,000 to every member of your household? Because the government of the United States doesn't think so. They believe the best ussage of all that money was trickle down economics. I know I would be better off with the money myself. We need a government that doesn't believe in trickle down economics because I am sick of being pissed on and told it is rain.
