@Bike_Lion actually the type of vote it would be requires 60 members of the Senate but that said they should still be able to get the votes it is hard to believe any senator would want to go home after voting no on giving their voters $2000.

American Avenger that is total BULLSHIT this is a standalone bill to simply change the payment from $600 per American citizen to $2000. You need to get your facts straight because you come across as ignorant when you don't.

American Avenger rationalize all you want there is no pork in the stand alone bill. There is pork in what Mitch McConnell wants to add though so you are half right the democratic party passed something that was a clean bill but Mitch McConnell is not willing to let that get votes on unless he can add his pork. So yes one party is definitely doing what you say just not the party you think in this case.
