It is almost like having a government full of wealthy people results in an economy that prioritizes wealth over the working class.

@unnecessaryapostrophe4047 than you are delusional. Just look at what happened in Texas because people like you believe you don't need government regulations to protect you from the corporations.

@joesnyder9333 really you get to set your labor rate? Where do you work I want to apply because any job I have hand the boss offered a compensation package and I could either except it or not work there. That isn't choosing what I traded my labor for it is accepting what is offered in our society for the skills I have to offer. Even in an engineering position I never got to set the terms of my employment that was done for me by my employer.

@joesnyder9333 actually I am self employed now but you seemed to have proven my point your orginal post was total BS. You don't get to choose what you trade your labor for.

@joesnyder9333 higher minimum wages have never been shown to lower the available jobs anytime they have been implemented.

@joesnyder9333 oh trust me I made a point of switching jobs often to get paid closer to what I was worh and often for very nice pay increases and counter offers but each time the employer got to set the pay and each time without exception when I made them very high profits they seemed to feel bonuses only applied to upper management so I would switch employers and tell them why would I accept your counter offer knowing how you view compensation when there is a chance the next company believes in pay raises and bonus. I suppose you can choose to be unemployed but at the end of the day if you want to earn a living you are forced to accept a wage.
