Most of his supporters are also in the highest risk groups. I suspect tragically they won't be doing anything again as a result of his poor choices.

@ncgc you didn't learn from 2008 and 2016. Obama won not by convincing Hillary Clinton supporters to vote blue no matter who. He won by convincing non voters and independents to vote for him. Hillary Clinton did a better job getting people to vote blue no matter who and lost because she didn't appeal to independents and non voters. Vote for the change canadate in the primary because the change canadates have won the last 3 elections in the general election. The status quo canadates have lost in the general election. If you want to remove trump you have to give non voters and independents something to vote for like Obama did in 2008 not try to scare Democratic voters into voting against trump. Hillary Clinton tried that in 2016 and lost. Hillary Clinton said it herself Joe has the same support she lost with in 2016. So voting for Biden in the primary is a vote to lose to trump again in the general election. It is a vote to prove that those who refuse to learn from history are bound to repeat it.

@mikeb2586 Do you have to ask? Bernie Sanders marched with MLK. That was definitely part of the change movement in modern society. Bernie Sanders is pushing for Medicare for All. Definitely change from the status quo for profit system. Expanding our public education to include college is definitely change. Getting people to stand together and fight for the working class. That is definitely a change from the status quo oligarchy which has just printed 1.5 trillion dollars out of thin air and dumped it in wallstreet to help the wealthy while saying they will only test the avg person and not treat them if they are sick. Bernie Sanders is the change we need to deal with the issues we face today.

@mikeb2586 Bernie Sanders is the only candidate left who can win. Biden has the same platform and voter base Hillary Clinton had. We know how that worked out.

@verucasalt2391 it is simple demographics. Older people are at that highest risk children at the lowest risk everyone else in the middle. Older voters tend to vote more conservative either in the Republican party or in the Democratic party.

We need Medicare for All. Biden will veto it. The lesson to be learned from this pandemic is that countries like South Korea with a single payer healthcare system didn't try to maximize profits for their healthcare system they acted to protect the health and wellbeing of the public. When lives are in the ballance there is no place for a profit motive. Vote for Bernie Sanders.
