  1. Who wants to bet that Rand Paul just increased spending with this objection. Mitch McConnell will definitely slip in some other spending to this bill before he brings it up for a vote again. It will probably be a couple of billion for some right wing priority that he knows the Democrats won't agree to otherwise.

  2. I wonder if Rand Paul objected to spending trillions of dollars after 911 with the start of the oil wars? Oh right there was only one member of Congress who stood up against the Iraq war and she received death threats for over a decade even after she was proven correct that Iraq didn't attack us on 911. Funny how he didn't have a problem finding war after 911 but funding healthcare for citizens who risked their lives on the front line of that war here on American soil saving American lives Rand Paul objected to helping them. Almost as though they didn't have corpate donors supporting them.
