  1. He was largely an extension of the Reagan policies. But the one good thing he did was not follow the advice of the war machine and the ff industry and stopped when he drove Saddam back to the Iraq border avoiding destabilizing the middle east. His son lacked his understand of foriegn policy which was that you can't fix the world so look at what changed in the last 6 months to make it a situation you can't tolerate and do the bare minimum to move it back to a situation you can tolerate. That understanding got our troops home quickly from the first gulf war and they are still there in the 3rd decade after the second gulf war his son's failure to understand that caused.

Clarence Thomas was the first African American appointed to the court let's worry more about the rulings of the judges then their ethnicity as that didn't work out so well for us with the first African American Male we shouldn't feel being the first African American Female is nearly as important as being the most progressive candidate Biden had to pick from at the time. The healthcare legislation like the climate legislation and the gun legislation is nowhere near what the crisis we face demands. It is hard to calibrate half measures which still leave us a society with increasing inequality as we continue into the 6th mass extinction event fueled by the ff industry.
