Thomas is wrong poling shows that the 3rd party voters would have stayed home. It pulls from the half of all Americans who don't vote. But again if you don't want the 3rd party spoiler effect push for ranked choice voting

What we can do is follow Maine and Alaska and get ranked choice voting which will end the duopoly

@nunyabizz50 ranked choice voting doesn't require a constitution amendment. Let's start with the changes that are proved possible and will make a big difference.

@emsleywyatt3400 so you are saying the voters lied when they said they wouldn't have voted for either of the two other candidates they would have stayed home. Because ofcourse there is no way Hillary vs Trump could have caused lower voter turnout. Got it Like I said don't argue we need less democracy and a stuck with the duopoly passed ranked choice voting and fix the problem of first past the post voting .

@WJV9 those laws are garbage. It doesn't change anything if the states that already trend with the popular vote agree to play with their electoral college votes the deep GOP states won't ever agree to pass the same laws.

@emsleywyatt3400 someone can't stand criticism or is dodging the reality that Hillary and trump couldn have resulted in low voter turnout compared to historical records because they where both bad candidates.
