About time the German government steps up to maximize the transition to renewable energy. Energy security is best achieved through local renewable energy.

@rainyvideos3684 I have off grid solar it is far more reliable than the power grid here which goes down several times a year for up to 12 hours.

@mqii only if you like wasting money on the most expensive form of energy today do you support nuclear power. That is before any of the waste issues. You will notice that Russia moved quickly to secure the melted down useless power plant at Chernobyl during their war. That shows you how dangerous nuclear power is in a war zone.

@onraj9mm renewable are fully dependent on Russia gas???? Wow I didn't know they had a pipeline to the sun to fuel it. That is very generous of the Russians but how do the fuel it when the earth spins so fast???

@peterfireflylund the entire history of nuclear power shows that it will never be cheap. Solar wind and storage have shown just the opposite in recent years. The path forward is clear for those paying attention.

@petervojcek7043 so your argument is that they haven't installed enough renewable energy already? I think that was the entire point to my comment that it is time to kick the install program in high gear. Wind solar and storage is the fastest and cheapest way to do that today

@peterfireflylund it isn't regulations in the energy maket that made installing solar panels and batteries at my house less expensive than being on the power grid. That is just free market comparison and who gets to keep the profit margin.
