Imagine being in your 80s as the head of a political party that for your entire political career has fund raising off this issue and failed to pass legislation. We need rank choice voting and more parties to end the duopoly.

@MikeHunt-no2kt people said the same thing about trump and the Republican party

@jaaksavat7916 if the Democrats had pass legislation in the last half century the court would have been powerless

@karlhungusjr1 clearly they knew it wasn't settled or Obama wouldn't have said passing legislation to make it law was his #1 priority while campaigning before refusing to follow through when he had a veto proof super majority.

@karlhungusjr1 what is hilarious is your thinking that fundraising for both parties is equal when one delivers for their voters and the other doesn't.

@Bill Randleman lol you mean during a global pandemic the Democratic party spent money to address the crisis facing the entire planet??? What a horrible crime to have put the wellbeing of citizens over the wealthy of the caplistist class. But nice deflection from the point of this discussion I actually fell for it.
1
@karlhungusjr1 wow you are trying hard to miss the point.

@charlesvan13 someone doesn't understand the ruling. The Republicans are full of people pushing for federal government legislation to ban abortion so clearly they don't see this ruling in their favor blocking federal government action.
1
@charlesvan13 you clearly don't understand the ruling by the court. They pushed it back to Congress saying they didn't believe the courts have the right to rule as they did in Roe. But that doesn't change the fact that federal government has more authority than state government in our constitution. At the moment it falls to state laws because there is no federal law once Congress passes federal law it will become the law of the land regardless of what the states rule same as the federal court ruling in Roe applied to all 50 states making the more restrictive laws in the states non enforceable for the last half century because the states rights are limited by the federal government not the other way around.

@charlesvan13 lol your rant becomes useless when you hide behind "this court" tell me all I need to know you are just as authoritarian and fascist as they are
