We can today build 100% renewable baseload power for half the cost of Hinkley point nuclear power. That is a game changer and nuclear power is done.

  11. Not when you consider the damage all that ff will do to the environment. Or the damage done along other pipelines by leaks. Continuing is called throwing good money after bad. The best thing to do is take the lose today and start building renewable energy infrastructure. Your first lose is always the smallest

  14.  @MrZozue  oh for the record I did pay for my 100% off grid solar system it works great and hasn't forced my home back into the stone age as you fear. It has instead made me self sufficient and removed my dependency on the power grid that isn't stable where I live. Now i watch my neighbors loose power and offer them warmth when the grid fails.
