More wealth people literally using the entire carbon budget for the rest of their lives to have a 10 minute joy ride. This is a crime against humanity

@olivermj69 joyride into space for wealthy elite isn't human progress it is a waste of precious resources we need to insire there is a plant that supports human life for future generations. Solar panels wind farms and EV are progress for humanity.

I suggest we force them to live the rest of their lives with zero emissions it would actually just about equal out based on the IPCC timeline of less then a decade left to become zero emissions and the avg American emitting 15 tons per year IIRC. But the wealthiest 10% who emmitt more than half of all emmisions won't be held accountable they will continue to use the world's carbon budget for their own amusement.

@JDGuitar82 this doesn't push the envelope we made orbital fights in the 1960 for far less cost. This just wastes carbon emissions we don't have for a 10 minute joyride. How many homes could have been powered by renewable energy for the same cost as this joyride?

@Astronist you watched too much sifi and I like sifi. It is far more important that we keep the one planet that supports human life supporting it than we try to turn a lifeless rock with no biosphere into a place for humans to live. We don't need to worry about leaving earth for longer into the future than our species has walked the earth into the past. The sun will still support life on earth if we avoided the human caused 6th mass extinction event we are currently living in. The solution to that isn't a coloney in space it is saving the only environment that supports human life.

@zapfanzapfan where did the hydrogen come from and how much energy was used to put it in the tank. The blue hydrogen myth is a great way to increase CO2 emmisions from the ff industry.
