  3. I love how replacing demand from coal would be easy but gas is hard per her comments. It seems to me that replacing electricity demand is the same regardless of what power plant made the electricity in the first place.

  4.  @fredkrause4509  so homes don't have electricity power lines to power other hot water heaters??? Or is there a shortage of plumbers to install them? Seems swapping out appliances is something we understand well in our modern society we replace them every 7 years anyway.

  5. Only so long as the ff industry gets to control how goverment spending is allocated. WWII showed how quickly the world can change manufacturing capacity if we choose.

  12. ss  never assume what others know or you will expose your own ignorance. There is nothing in a residential setting that is done with gas that cannot be done just as well with electricity.

  13.  @chrisss3749  we change then all out on avg every 7 years due to failure. So clearly 1 in every 7 appliances will be changed this year regardless the question is just what will be installed a gas hot water heater or a heat pump.
