Saying no one could forsee this comming is dishonest. The climate scientists have literally been telling us for decades this is what is comming. This was brought to you by the ff industry. But Germany keeps pushing forward with their new ff pipelines. So expect this to continue to get worse.

@ctbsancho2516 this isn't a natural disaster it is a side effect of our consumption of ff. But as to how you handle flooding look at the flood control dams build in the USA during the great depression. They have stopped flooding for a century where I live.

@ligametis so they have enough transportation infrastructure to support 100% of the population collecting up a few things and evacuating in under half an hour? Wow those streets looked way to narrow for that type of mass evacuation. Have you seen the photos of the highways made one way when there is a hurricane evacuation in the USA? I really dought even if the military was there organizing it that those communities could have evacuated in under 30 minutes like you think

Being that the climate is less stable it is difficult to predict where and when. Higher temperatures in many areas means less rain and forest fires. In others more rain. So yes hard to predict. It would have been easier to avoid but we are addicted to our ff even knowing it is causing the 6th mass extinction event

@EQOAnostalgia where did I say guns were not a problem?? As to cows that is funny because you don't even understand enough of their digestive system to know which end the methane comes out let alone that a simple dietary supplement will stop the production of methane and improve their health. But sure blame the cows not the ff industry which pumps carbon out of the ground and leaks methane all of which was sequestered before either cows or humans evolved. The scientists are clear this is a human caused climate crisis causing the 6th mass extinction.
