@easymoney8535 actually we have a Democratic Republic. Meaning we vote for our representatives and don't have a royal family. The it is a republic talking point dates back to the racists past trying to deny that we have a democracy in the USA by deflection of the fact that we lack a royal family.

Republic only means we lack a monarchy. We are a representative Democratic republic. Meaning we Democratically vote for our representatives and lack a monarchy.
