@Pacjam123123 wow defending a monopoly profiteering off a global pandemic how sad. It is a good thing the government in the USA didn't feel the same way about the private sector during WWII. Then we simply took over the factories and told them what they would produce for the war effort because we believed it was a threat to all humanity. Today in a global pandemic you believe profits are more important than lives how sad.

Tell me which drug companies have never taken a single dollar of government grant money. I will wait for you to prove which medications where 100% private sector funded. But I am willing to bet the answer is non.

@meamzcs the point to that parable was to share your intellectual knowledge with other freely if you don't understand that you need to study the teaching of Jesus again because he never put profit over saving lives. The parallels are so clear you have to be blinded by greed to miss it.

The theory of meritocracy... even Jeff Bezos doesn't call his wealth earning he calls it winnings. The drug companies have already made more than the intellectual property cost them in the last 3 months. It has returned billions already. To keep demanding more profit off a pandemic is a crime against humanity
