  1.  @danielhutchinson6604  sorry but when those soldiers settled there they where no longer Russians any more than the Russians who settled in the USA a century before. The reality is humans move to new areas and become members of that nation to try to claim your alliance to the nation you moved out of is what causes the conflict. We are seeing the same thing the world over. Israel is an example of people moving to a country and then declaring the people who live there as the enemy and locking them up in the worlds largest open air prison. Much the same you would not respect Palestinian rights to the land they lived on in the same time frame in history as you claim we need to respect Russian rights to Ukraine.

  2. Ukrainian farmer "we will just tighten our belt a little" Funny considering the people in Africa and Asia are the ones going hungry and the Ukrainian farmers are sitting on food to feed half a billion people. Me thinks those farmers won't be the ones having to miss meals.

  3. Don't worry the global agro business community will all be grateful for their increased profits. Same as the global ff industry is grateful for their record profits. Corporations in the USA reported the highest profits in 70 years last year. Inflation is good for companies who caused it.

  6.  @Essentially_Nobody  everything you blame on the government is actually a direct result of the policy passed with the approval of the capitalists class that funds politicians so it really does come back to the same handful of wealthy people like Jeff Bezos and Charles Koch who set the prices for their products and who set the government policies with their campaign funds and think tanks.

Regardless of why the food is there it isnt the people with it who will be tightening their belts because they went hungry.

Farmers who are not able to feed their families on their own are not farmers they are agro businessmen. But I noticed you can't show me one farmer who starved while holding tons of grain to sell

  20. Look back to the 80s farm aid in the USA. Big farmers have big debt and often pride that makes them commit suicide when they can't pay it.
