But history has showed that lower levels of inequality in society result in depressions and the end of empires. The failure to learn from the past dooms us to repeat it.

  6.  @andrei-lucianserb1771  I remember being a kid and hearing how the moon landings decades earlier would open space for colonies. Now more than half a century later you are recycling the same talking points. Maybe we could focus on not destroying the one plant that does support human life instead. But that isn't as sexy as billionaires launching the cars and themselves into space.

  8.  @andrei-lucianserb1771  jeff Bezos just tried to get 10 billion dollars for the moon landing alone from the federal government. The senator from Washington state did get it passed in the Senate but it was removed from the bill in the house. That same 10 billion dollars would provide tinny houses for half of all the homeless in the USA. Tell me do you think Jeff Bezos moon landing something the federal government achieved in the 1960s for far less than 10 billion dollars will employ more people than building homes for half of the homeless in the USA? If you do you definitely need to provide some figures to back that claim up. As AOC has said there is no shortage of work that needs to be done with the Green New Deal what we lack is the political will to do it. As to advancing technology lets advance batteries and renewable energy not rockets and weapons systems. Because don't fool yourself those rockets double as supersonic missile systems it is why the defense department funds both SpaceX and Jeff Bezos rocket company which lost the free market bidding and begged for government welfare.

  9.  @andrei-lucianserb1771  let's focus on problems which will atleast accure in the timeframe going forward equal to that our species has been evolved. Say 1 million years at the outside. The sun won't expand to end all life on earth in that time frame. But in the lifetime of the children in school today our greed and dependency on ff will end the ability of this planet to support the lifestyle we depend on. We are living through the 6th mass extinction event and you are defending wasting resources on space exploration instead of focusing on renewable energy and income inequality. Well done.
