  8.  @DarkApe117  the vast majority of voters in the usa believe the fight is over once they cast their vote. From a quick Google search Around 138 million Americans voted in the 2016 presidential election. We have never had 138 million Americans march in a protest or call their elected representatives on any single issue so clearly the vast majority of voters do think that casting their ballot is the end of their responsibility.

Why should Paris Hilton never have to work a day in her life and use government funded services like police and fire departments public roads the list goes on? Income tax is how we pay for these services since she never earned a dime of money why does she get to freeload off the backs of tax paying citizens? The inheritance tax over 10 million is infact how we can limit these trust fund babies from taking advantage of the working class and force them to pay for some of the government services they use.

  33.  @jrsydvl7218  nope the ACA Heritage foundation plan doesn't pass as progressives. It doesn't even have a public option because with a supermajority Biden couldn't get it passed. So it is just a mandate for me to buy insurance from the for profit healthcare system. The ACA definitely isn't what Germany has either because they pay half what we do per capita so nice gaslighting on that too

Medicare for All has been proved in every single study to save us trillions of dollars over the next decade. So if you are worried about the debt burden your kids will live under you should be in favor of Medicare for All because they will pay less for government single payer insurance then for private sector for profit insurance.

  36.  @jccgold  I take care of my elderly mother who is on Medicare and has been hospitalized and in nursing care mutual times over the last few years so yes I have first hand experience with how both our private for profit insurance and our Medicare system works. She gets the same care today she got before she was on Medicare with the same doctor at the same hospital the only difference is we don't get a denial of service notice from Blue Cross anymore saying that they are sorry but they don't cover some of the services because while the doctor was in network the test he requested was out of network. With Medicare the government simply pays the hospital the Medicare approved rate and it is done.

Besides vetoing policy that 90% of all Democratic voters and 70% of all voters want isn't a good political move to get votes. Unless you believe those are the percentage of the progressives who you think he is running away from.

  40.  @pedroroma933  for started we are trying to get Biden to see he needs to earn our vote not simply give him our support and get nothing in return. Telling him that vetoing policy that the overwhelming majority of Americans want is unacceptable. What is your strategy to fall in line and let the corporate Democrats see that their leaving you no alternative is a successful tactic? I am also working with groups to get rank choice voting and supporting 3rd party candidates because we need an alternative to the left of the DNC if we want to pull the party left. Without that will continue to see the DNC move right taking the left for granted as they have no where else to go. The entire shift to the right by the DNC over the last 40 years is because the voters on the right have an alternative in order to get power back we need to make the same true about the left. We need to make Biden and the DNC fear that they will lose to canadates on the left if we ever hope to move them back to the platform of the Democratic party before the 80s.
