This is why I am voting green party in November. It is time for the Democratic party to join the Tories and wigs.

@animepussy8356 study history the same 2 parties have not always been in control. Clearly you didn't understand that part of my comment
27
@animepussy8356 it was a two party system then to but not the same two parties. It is time to admit that the DNC and GOP are both the same party and form a new second party at the moment the only new party I can vote for is the green party

@jrsydvl7218 sorry but that doesn't entitle you to my vote when the candidate slaps me in the face saying he will veto Medicare for All during a pandemic when 69% of ALL registered voters want it including Republicans and Independents. When the candidate is to the right of Republican voters he doesn't get my vote I will vote green party thanks.

@jrsydvl7218 you keep proving that you have no idea how we got here. You have no idea how political power works. You don't gain by giving someone your support when they don't give you anything in return. You win by showing them you will withhold your support until they recognize your power and give you something for that support.
6
@jrsydvl7218 but Biden is the most electable candidate who doesn't need progressives. That is what the establishment keeps telling us about no empathy Joe. If he can't win maybe he should withdraw and let Bernie Sanders be the nominee.
5
@jrsydvl7218 how much winning did we get with 4 decades of lesser of 2 evils? We got the Heritage foundation healthcare system a fracking boom and trump. Job well done keep playing the cards the neoliberals hand you if you want
5
@jrsydvl7218 nope the ACA Heritage foundation plan doesn't pass as progressives. It doesn't even have a public option because with a supermajority Biden couldn't get it passed. So it is just a mandate for me to buy insurance from the for profit healthcare system. The ACA definitely isn't what Germany has either because they pay half what we do per capita so nice gaslighting on that too
5
charmander charmander no that would be voting for Joe Biden we already know that Trump can beat a centrist corporatist Democrat. Voting for the administration that gave us trump is wasting your vote
4
@jrsydvl7218 oh where would the government put that effort in an affordable care act??? Right with the super majority the corporate Democrats couldn't figure out how to limit the profits of their donors. But go and gaslight me about how I should vote for the administration that gave me that shittty pro insurance industry profits bill.
3
@boknowsbaseball leaving it blank is like staying home it doesn't bother the establishment because the people who vote for both establishment parties have more power when we don't vote. The parties are scared shitless of a 3rd party because that is actually something that can break their corporate chokehold on government. Both parties know the public hates their candidates because they are evil it is right there in the logic they use we know we gave you a shity candidate but you get to choose your rapeist isn't that kind of us? They know if people realize that there is a good candidate not just 2 evil ones to pick between they are screwed.
3
@Aaron Mason if you are soo worried about losing votes from the Democratic party maybe you should push the Democratic party to support policies that 69% of all voter want not say they will veto them. Sorry but my vote needs to be earned not taken for granted.
3
@jrsydvl7218 so you agree we shouldn't vote for either of the two parties thanks
3
@jrsydvl7218 wow you are such an expert you know more about the German healthcare system than the people living in Germany. That pretty much shows how arrogant you are and why you believe that Joe Biden is entitled to my vote while he publicly tells me he will veto the policies which would save my life in a pandemic. Or atleast avoid my going through medical bankruptcy which is only a thing in the USA.
3
@jrsydvl7218 you fail to understand that the ACA did not cover 100% of our society and it also did not lower costs. So it is a shitty failed law. The only thing it does is force people to buy from the private for profit sector. There is no safety net in the ACA because we have Millions of uninsured Americans unlike Canada or Germany or almost every other developed country.
3
@jrsydvl7218 you don't know how math works now. If I vote for the Green party it is one vote for the green party not one vote for the Democratic party. You seem to believe the Democratic party got my vote be default. They don't it is my vote and Joe Biden or Donald Trump have done NOTHING to EARN that vote.
3
@jrsydvl7218 if you are so pissed that the Democratic party has a nominee who will veto policy that 69% of Americans want you need to address that problem with his campaign it is why 69% of voters are not in agreement with him and some of us have enough values to not vote against our own best interests
3
@jrsydvl7218 the ACA was a corporate handout to the insurance company
2
@jrsydvl7218 so now you have decided since you can't defend the corporate Democrats you will attack everyone else. Your shallowness is showing.
2
@Aaron Mason you have no idea how voting works. If someone doesn't vote for the Republican party the Republican party doesn't get another vote. Sorry but learn how math works before insulting others.
2
@Aaron Mason you tell me how I should vote then say you don't care how I vote priceless
2
@Aaron Mason the problem is I have seen first hand for my entire life that voting for the corporate Democrats only allows the corporate chokehold on the government to get stronger. The Republicans move to the right and the Democrats chase after them trying to be just slightly less right wing. It is time for something to change and the two parties we have have made it abundantly clear they will resist change. Obama ran on change you could believe in then turned around and said he was policy wise a Republican from the 80s. Biden has said nothing will fundamentally change if he is president. Well I can't agree to those terms. It is that simple I won't choose which right wing party gets to run government I will vote for a 3rd option it is the only way to break the cycle of abuse you can't rationalize for the abusers.
2
@jrsydvl7218 you seem to think the Overton window hasn't slide right over the last half century even though Obama told you he was policy wise a 80s Republican. You are clueless
1
@jrsydvl7218 I have many issues I care about unfortunately no empathy Joe has made it clear he isn't on my side on all of them. But the Medicare during a pandemic is definitely low handing fruit when the majority of all voters want it.
1
@jrsydvl7218 wow you really don't know me. I voted for Obama twice and refused to vote for Hillary. I am the voter the Democrat party should want to win over if they want to win in November
1
@jrsydvl7218 here is the argument you don't get. https://youtu.be/vfhH0VETyac
1
@mckenzie.latham91 wow the snowflake argument. That is so powerful when every other developed country has single payer healthcare which does cover 100% of their society. All you have left is name calling how macho of you.
