  2.  @meh23p  free college education would be 20 billion dollars a year so a drop in the bucket compared to our current $715 billion dollars a year military budget. Medicare for all costs 2 to 5 trillion dollars less them the current for profit healthcare system we have today so infact if you compare apples to apples you save with Medicare for All. You can't compare the cost of the government taking on Medicare for All and just exnore the saving of not having to pay for our current for profit healthcare system. That is like saying when you get a company car you don't save any money by not having to have your own personal car to drive to work. Medicare for All or single payer is proven to cost less and be very popular in other countries just ask people living in Canada or the yellow vest protestor who are fighting back because Macron wants them to buy private health insurance to supplement their single payer system as part of his neoliberal agenda.

  3.  The Wolverine  I have nothing against the troops. My gripe is with the military industrial complex which treats troops like yourself as cannon fodder in their wars for oil and the every growing pillaging of the American public in the form of the military budget. $715 billion dollars a year to fund the military and putting solders in harms way in the middle east for the sake of oil is sick. If we had spent the same money we wasted on the oil wars we would have 100% renewable energy and zero troops would have been killed or injured in the process. A reasonable government would realize that a socal safety net and domestic renewable energy is how you protect your citizens not risking the lives of troops to provide access to oil in the middle east. Some of my best friends came home permanently disabled from those oil wars. It make me sick when I think about what our politicians risked their lives for.
