Kyle was half right if she votes yes the money goes to her opponent but if she doesn't vote for Kavanaugh there is no charge to anyone who donates and you keep you money resulting on no fund raising. There is a Vox story about it a few weeks back where Susan Collins tried to call it blackmail. Which is wrong and hilarious at the same time. When the GOP doners went on national television and said give us our tax cuts or we cut off your funding that was blackmail because the person being blackmailed would lose money. Per citizen United funding a political opponents is free speach so if she has a problem with citizens expressing their free speach she should by all means get money out of politics and have publicly funded elections. Until then this is brilliant turning their own system against them.
