whyamimrpink78 this is a straw man argument all I did was point out what he pays his employees or what he paid them before he left to run for political office. You should just be aware of what he did so you know what he feels is a fair labor rate.

whyamimrpink78 sure he can't afford to pay more it would hurt his profit margins.

whyamimrpink78 but don't expect him to fight for a livable wage either. But I am guessing your ok with people working for less then a living wage

whyamimrpink78 we live in the age of record profits that means companies make more money over their expenses then in the past. The definition of the word profits mean the company could pay more if they choose to make less profit. But in a pure caplistist society there is no incentive for the rich owner class to pay their workers more. That is the reality. It Starbucks showed a loss last year then you could say they cant afford to pay more but when businesses make a profit they can afford to pay the help more. If you cant understand what a living wage is your choosing to be dense. It is a very simple concept.

whyamimrpink78 I would love to see what city appartment you can rent on $6 an hour plus cover your other expenses and have $200 left over. Your talking $960 a month before taxes. But I know your full of it with that comment because it is below min wage and I don't believe you have tried living on min in the USA let alone less then min. As to your share holder argument you just made the case for federal regulation to raise the minimum wage well done.
