During WWII the USA government hauled the head of Chrysler out of the board room in handcuffs because they where putting their profits over the needs of the country. Time to do the same today.

@ripley2822 except there is a major difference the people during WWII didn't need the tanks the country did. So your change of my words definitely changes the meaning from that of the country as a collective to that of people individually. Chrysler was arguing at the the time that their profits as individuals and the customers they served who wanted cars and truck not tanks and airplanes where more important than the needs of our society at large. The choice of the word country was very intentional it means that the government has proven the right to act when the needs of society as a whole demands it. Covid today is a threat to the entire world the same as WWII was a threat to the entire world which is why the government has the right to put the needs of the country collectively over the needs of people individually or in smaller groups.
