If Nancy Pelosi thought a vote on Medicare for All would end the fight she would have held it on day one. She knows it will help grow the movement.

The point is it doesn't cost Nancy Pelosi anything to vote on Medicare for All. Unless she knows she is on the wrong side of the issue.

@Jcewazhere it will help the movement the same way voting to repeal the ACA helped the Republican party win control of the Senate and the Whitehouse in the past. You grow your support in a democracy by showing the voters you are fighting for policies they want. Over 85% of all Democratic voters want Medicare for All how does refusing to even hold a vote on that in the house help you show those voters you are fighting for them? It shows the voters that you put the donors over the voters if you refuse to even hold a vote. You pass M4A in the house and force Mitch McConnell to refuse to vote on it or vote it down in the Senate. At which point you campaign against every single Republican in the Senate based on the fact that they are stopping you from having Medicare for All that Mitch McConnell alone has forced you into Medical bankruptcy. If you fight like that you win because the majority of Americans want the policy you are showing them Mitch McConnell and the GOP stopped.

@thinkhector actually AOC has raised more money then Nancy Pelosi. Look it up. AOC is now the largest fund raiser in the Democratic party and it is all small donor money.

@Jcewazhere your argument comes down to the corporate media will defend their donors so we can't fight back.. I don't accept that argument. I believe if Nina Turner and Corey Bush plus others keep calling out the GOP it will be heard. I say Nina Turner because I hope she wins her house race to back fill Biden's cabinet pick.
