You mean corporatist.

@Objectivityiskey so you think in Canada, the UK and Scandinavia they have slaves that provide healthcare???? You are nothing but a stupid troll.

@Matt-ww9wv true but it is more important to point out that the politicians are bought by corporations. It drives home the point that they do what they are paid to do by the donors. We need more politicians like AOC who represent people not corporations.

@Niche Prosper you mean canadates who raise their funding through small donations from avg Americans like myself will be forced to represent those same citizens who voted them into office? Oh the humanity of a government which is forced to represent the voters or be voted out of office.

@Squawk24 there are only 8 years between Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren so if you are truly worried about age you should look at a younger candidate otherwise it is just a strawman argument. My answer to age is that the VP is there to fill in if the president is unfit to do the job so I won't worry about it. As to the goal of getting a female president sorry but I simply don't believe in identity politics I am all about polices. Tulsi Gabbard lost my support when she switch away from Medicare for All to a system where private sector insurance simply dumps high risk patients off on the government and there are two different levels of care one for the wealthy elite and a government program with the medical equipment of a public defender for the rest of us. Elizabeth Warren has made it clear her plan is now to put in a public option for healthcare and then in her 3rd year when she has no political capital left she will try to fight a second healthcare battle for Medicare for All. That tells you that while she is good on financial issues she is doesn't understand what it will take to get progressive policies thought government because no one in their right mind thinks fighting the healthcare industry twice instead of once is a good idea and definitely not in the 3rd year of your first term. That is just poor political planning. Sorry but if you truly believe in progressive policies you will realize that AOC is correct and Bernie Sanders is the candidate we need in 2020.

@Niche Prosper you have no idea how much the Amazon tax giveaway would have hurt the community. The same community which is now in the middle of a tech job boom without the crony capitalism giveaway to Amazon. Sorry but you also fail to understand that JD raises its funds from small donor contributions. Kyle Kulinski has a great video disproving your claims. It explains how forming JD was the only way to allow individuals work together to fund grass roots candidates with a common progressive goal. But you are clearly the one on a mission to cloud the issues and exnore reality. Both of the founders of JD are actually involved in the movement to end the curruption of money in politics this is simply the only way to get grass roots candidates into office with our current system. As to AOC she is more than able to speak for herself. I am impressed with her actions so far in Congress and wish my own rep was half as out spoken as she is. But my rep does answer to his corporate donors insuring they get a good return on their investment.

I love the framing. Asking who Bernie Sanders will pick for VP make the assumption the will win the primary. Let's hope we have the opportunity to see who he picks because it will be a wonderful day for the country when Bernie Sanders becomes the nominee.

Janet Baker AOC has out raised Nancy Pelosi which is how Nancy bought her speakership so there is some argument that AOC as the most power fund raiser 100% small donor contributions no dialing for dollars could be in line to be speaker in her second term in the house.

@poli_zgaming3616 no the candidate chooses the VP Bernie Sanders listed Tulsi Gabbard as his VP on the California ballot in 2016. Corporatist centrist might seek the parties advice for a VP but the candidate picks their VP

@bushputz I am in no rush to see her political career end. I would like to see her spend atleast a decade in Congress leading that part of our government before she become president. Once she becomes president she will serve 8 years max and retire.

@Squawk24 I don't see one female candidate in 2020 for president who has a better platform then Bernie Sanders.

MidScream1 I am not worried about the courts. The first thing the progressives will do once we control Congress in 2020 is impeach and remove from office every single one of Trumps judges who received a rating of not qualified rating from the American Bar Association. Then we will impeach judge I like beer. That will allow is to fix the mess the federalist society has made of our courts.

MidScream1 you seem to have me confused with someone else. But the more unqualified judges trump appoints the more opening there will be for president Sanders.

MidScream1 you are once again out of date on your information. Bernie Sanders is now in second place he is rising while Bidden falls. After Biden loses the first 3 votes in the primary he will drop out of the race clearing the way for Bernie Sanders to win the nomination and crush trump. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/us/2020_democratic_presidential_nomination-6730.html
