  2. Marc I usually agree with you. But when it comes to the comment that Biden can be pulled either to work with Republicans or Progressives I have to disagree. I see no sign in his voting record or public statements to support that. He has made it very clear that he is proud of his history of working with Republicans. Biden policy wise is a Republican from the 80s era. He has stated he will veto Medicare for All if it where to make it to his desk. That he has no empathy for the youth of this country struggling with college debt. I get the argument that trump is a wannabe dictator but I don't understand why anyone thinks Biden can be made into an FDR style democratic president that we need to get us out of the crisis we face.

  5. The too big to fail experience showed us the reality is these multi national corporations get too big in our current caplistist system. The solution is either to force a regulatory maximize size for corporations or to nationalize the services. I would choose a maximum allowed size and to break up any company which chooses to grow beyond that maximum safe size where their failure will not endanger the rest of our economy.

  6. Half a century of globalization has resulted in oppressing people globally the same way. You could very well expect to hear these same issues raised at a Bernie Sanders campaign speech or a yellow vest protest. It is shocking to see how much the oligarchy has in common the world over. It is long past time we end the reign of the global elite class and go back to supporting the rights of the working class.

  8. Ofcourse there is an easy answer. The Congress could pass a law making it illegal for any politician to lie in an ad. If they are proven to run ads with lies they disqualify themselves from the election and ban them from ever holding public office again.

But for the record Trump didn't being these troops home he redeployed them to Iraq and sent 1800 more troops to SA to defend their oil fields. Sorry but having been an engineer who watched upper management exnore the advice of the VP of engineering and the entire engineering staff and outsource our technology to China in the quest of profits I have zero sympathy left for the corporations who spend the last half century outsourcing their technology. Their short term quest for profits was too great to protect their long term interests even when fully I informed of the cost. That puts the blame squarely on the hands of upper management and multinational corporations.
