The one thing I would add is to put single payer in perspective with the current system you not only need the cost of both systems but also the percentage of coverage both provide. Out of pocket expense for users and what percentage of the population is covered. It would be easy for the Republican party to compare their failed healthcare program as less expensive if you exnored the fact that their plan doesn't actually cover people and single payer covers everyone.
