  2. The problem isn't government spending it is the fact that we keep giving tax cuts to the wealthy who have horded all the money in our society. They choose to have the government take debt that pays them interest on their assets as apposed to paying taxes that reduces their greed. We didn't have trouble funding our society in the 1960s. We wouldn't have trouble today if we simply returned to the tax code from the 1960s. Over half a century of tax cuts for the greediest in society is the problem.
