"Bernie understands that and Joe understands that" Obama is laughable I can't believe he can say that with a straight face when Joe Biden told the wealthy donors nothing would change under his administration. Centrist corporatist politicians defending the status quo will not rise to the challenge we face in these times. We need FDR style politicians to get us out of the new great depression we are entering not more neoliberalism or neoconservatives.

@lovely-mk4rt so you think the GOP has done what is best for America??? Wow I wouldn't call tens of thousands dieing best for America. I would say Tiawan has showed what an utter failure our government is as they kept the death toll to 5 people and kept schools open and kept people working. They tested contact traced and provided 10 N95 masks per week to every citizen from their national healthcare system. That is how a country does what is best to protect the health and wellbeing of the citizens.

Helen Scarcella I couldn't agree more. The rush to nominate Joe is crystal clear as soon as you realize that 17 million unemployed Americans in 3 weeks is support for Medicare for All growing. It is support for social Democracy which puts the health and wellbeing of the citizens first growing. The reality is neoliberalism failed us and created a society which doesn't work for most Americans a society which is failing to take care of us in this hour of need. All you have to do is look to Tiawan to see how the pandemic could have been stopped. Or look to Europe to see how the citizens could have been protected financially and medically during this crisis. But the USA has failed on all account because the top priority of both the neoliberals and neoconservatives is not the citizens it is the corporations who bought got the politicians to quote Bloomberg.
