  1. I feel for the workers. But honestly it sounds like they are going through what the rest of Americans have faced since about 2000. I can't tell you how many times employers told me they had to cut pay and benefits over the last two decades while the upper management took massive bonuses and the company did massive stock buybacks. I switch jobs many times over these issue. Now I support Medicare for All and the just transition which was called for in the green new deal. Too bad that we don't have president Sanders who campaigned on helping these working class Americans.

  2. At the time the only other thing they could vote for was unemployment. But they could have voted for Bernie Sanders when he offered them the green new deal. They probably would have expect for half a century of propaganda from Reagon forward about how the government is evil.

  4. Have you seen it on CNN or MSNBC? I don't have cable so I ask honestly. I can tell you NPR morning edition is not covering it.
