  8.  @matepavic6929  ...but you can develop PSYCHOPATHIC BEHAVIOR from illness, which would be the same thing as "becoming" a psychopath. That was the entire point of the plot. They said, in the episode, that she wasn't an actual, natural psychopath, because she WASN'T born one, she was normal as a child. It does make sense.

  13.  @matepavic6929  Oh my god. All psychopaths share some degree of the same traits, which is what makes them all psychopaths. She has all these traits. I am well aware she did not start her life as one. What you seem to be confused by is the idea that a medical condition could INDUCE “psychopathy” in a brain that started off normal. That was the entire point of the plot. She wasn’t an “actual psychopath,” but it doesn’t make a difference, because THE RESULTS were the exact same.

  15.  @matepavic6929  The illness. Caused. An exact PRESENTATION of psychopathy. She was never an ACTUAL, BORN PSYCHOPATH, but that does not matter, because she was effectively a psychopath in every trait and behavior. She didn’t fit the other diagnoses, and most of them also begin at birth or well before adolescence anyway, so I don’t know why you’re so stuck on that point. I am well aware psychopathy is present from birth, but if something causes brain damage to cause the EXACT same brain functions and behavior, there is no reason not to call that a psychopath. “Psychopath” isn’t even an actual, separate diagnosis, so why wouldn’t we use it in this very rare case of an acquired psychopathic brain? And do not just circle back to the same “she wasn’t born as one,” because clearly you’re not actually reading what I’m saying.

  16.  @matepavic6929  But you're contradicting yourself if your point is that all psychopaths are different but there's only one good representation of a psychopath. She's not even the stereotypical serial killer or whatever, she's just calculating, manipulative, and has no emotions. Why doesn't her behavior fit psychopathy? There are many people within any disorder who do fit the stereotypes, since they became stereotypes because of the most common traits. That's like saying a character with severe contamination OCD isn't a good representation of OCD because it's stereotypical.

  18. No…it did NONE of those things, and did you read over this before you posted it? This is a tumblr-worthy statement. How exactly did they TRIVIALIZE it when they showed exactly what it does to people? “All directions”?? What does that even mean? It was a straight-forward story, and the “all in her brain scenario” makes perfect sense, because some medical conditions can induce psychopathic behavior. Do you somehow think the writers are saying ALL PSYCHOPATHY is caused by medical conditions and can be cured? Can you drop the smug, condescending attitude?
