@weaselworm8681 Go look at The Cheiftain's channel. He's covered your Sherman v Tiger problem in several videos several times over several years ago.

@julianshepherd2038 Do you see The Daily Mail in TIK's bibliography for this video? Don't be a muppet. I have to have regular gastroscopies. They required anasthesia in the NHS because with the NHS equpiment you think you are choking and struggle. Half a dozen people and half a day. If I have it done in a contracted private hospital it takes 0 anasthesia, 1/2 an hour, & 1 person. There are better ways to accomplish Single Payer & "Free" at the Point of Delivery.

@QuizmasterLaw TIK didn't actually say the Wehrmacht should have done any of that. He just outlined that that was the efficient means to solve the problem. I think the impossibility of actually doing so should be obvious.

@goldreserve The USA is not actually a free market. TIK is describing an ideal; an ideal to be worked for. Ideals can never be actualities, there will always be frictions, but we can work to getting as close to the ideal as possible. We don't actually have to try all the crap alternatives (again!) to do this. We can do better than having one country fouled up one way, a 2nd country fouled up another way, & a third a different way again. I think we have all the data we need for what doesn't work in ways that will eventually doom us all.

@agentorange6085 Somehow I don't think Ivan would fall for that; because after all that is what THEY did to Fritz at Kursk.

@jackbiliny2435 "My troops can eat their belts but my tanks gotta have gas" - Patton in the pursuit after the Normandy breakout. But for logistics cock-ups, Patton would probably have settled the Huns hash in the West, obviated Monties ludicrous/desperate attempt to 'bounce' the Rhine with Market/Garden, and butterflied the even loonier Ardennes Offensive. 2800 British trucks were found to be defective; 15 million jerry cans simply 'disappeared' and ammuniton was supplied in abundance when what was needed was fuel. All this was compounded by... oversupply, believe it or not, the allied divisions would recieve about 3 1/2 times the tonnage needed to keep a German divsion in the field. An army based on the horse and cart outran armies based on the internal combustion engine. TIK highlights Kraut stupid but the Allies were no slouches in the stupid stakes; and considering the largest part of the genocide took place in the last year of the war, that stupid amounted to criminality.

@julianshepherd2038 Cheap and efficient don't neccessarily go together.

@julianshepherd2038 A better understanding of just about everything would be needed - but then Nazi's wouldn't have been a thing.

The answer is a platoon, even on your tabletop. 1 on 1 the Sherman dies 2 miles out.
