@ethanlynch8275 All History is contingent. Hitler had a @fingertip touch' for politics and diplomacy AS LONG AS HIS OPPONENTS WERE TRANSPARENT IN PEACE. Once we had decided enough was enough that transparency went and adolf could no longer read public,, parliamentary, military, governmental, or diplomatic opinion terribly well, and like all without the chrystal ball of an Open Society at Peace, reverted to wishful thinking.
We, the Saxon, are slow to anger; but when we have decided to be angry and to recognise anger can be power and that we know how to use that; you are basically fucked. Because we WILL send a battlefleet to defend a few hundred people far outnumbered by their sheep! We will do things as irrational as burning through our assets, wrecking our Empire and Commonwealth; putting ourselves in hock for the next fifty years and destroying any chance of restoring the nation to anywheree near its antebellum standing to ensure that where it is our wherwithal freedom will reign.
