  1. The M5 is already quicker than the E63S, which has been proven in multiple comparison videos. The Competition Pack will just increase the advantage slightly, but obviously the CP isn't purely about power, but various small upgrades making it more sporty to drive that the standard M5. As for power, the M5 produces anywhere between 630-650 realistic realworld HP and so does the E63S, but it's over 200lbs heavier than the M5. Great video :)

  4. Those are the offical figures, but dyno tests reveal a different story. The official figures are what the manufacturer expects the car to produce under less than ideal conditions. For example at altitude or with "bad" fuel. Even the F10 M5 produced in excess of 600hp, even though it was officially rated at 560.

The gps routing you to supercharger is great but stopping for so long traveling so little (in comparison to mainly Diesel) is still not yet good enough for many people, including me. When EVs can deliver a minimum of 400 miles (in the cold etc) then I think they’re really viable. Suddenly I hear people squealing that 200-250miles is enough for everyday use and commuting. Of course it is, but it’s not good when you want to do a long road trip without having to stop for an additional several hours on top of the actual driving.

  6. The E63S would be better, but technically the E63 is the direct competitor. The M5 Competition pack (CP) and E63S are direct competitors, because S is AMG's version of CP :)
