  1. Very true. Volvo has admitted it would 7 years to offset the CO2 emissions created in the manufacturing process compared to their ICE equivalent. Begs the question why they still persist with EV…I smell something rotten.

  3. I don’t disagree but many ICE cars are very heavy now. Even a sports saloon like a M3 competition weighs in at 1800kgs… compare than to the weight of even the last generation, let alone the first … a large petrol engined SUV weighs in at at least 2.2 tonnes, some well over that. I’m not defending EV or the agenda behind it…

  5. If it took 20 minutes to fill our tanks … well it would never happen would it 🤦 20 minutes is not a fast “refill”. I’d be on the road in 5 minutes with 700 miles of range.

  8. EVs are heavy no doubt but there are plenty of modern ice cars/suvs that weigh well in excess of 2 tons or even close to 2.5tons. EV is just far too compromised in general to be a viable replacement. But thats the point … they don’t want us travelling freely and easily.

  13. I was returning from Chesterfield in Debryshire to East Surrey. My car had 3/4 of a tank and estimated the range to be 800 miles.... What EV? No thanks.
