  3. Trust me, from an insider (a Dutch special forces major and a friend who did three tours there as part of ISAF) , the ANA will collapse within months. The Taliban already control huge areas of the country.

  5. I think it’s more about the type of mindset of the combatants. Having more advanced equipment means nothing in an insurgency. Added to that the Taliban do have the ability to move in and out of Pakistan , where the ANA can’t go. The ANA have also been infiltrated.

  6.  @golfbulldog  The Taliban have already won. They have entered and occupied Kabul. The ANA will either just dessert enmasse or be routed. I guess I was wrong that they would take months to fall.
