  10. Agreed. The "tail" in the speedtail looks odd, but I guess the design is there for high speed low drag and stability. It's definitely not designed as a track car, but as a luxury hybrid hypercar GT.

  18. The Porsche isn't quick. It has AWD and that's all. Once the McLaren hooks up it easily reels it in. The 765LT has a trap speed 10mph faster.

  27. You don't seem to have any idea what you're talking about. The predicted range is based on how the car has been driven up to that point since the tank was filled and it's likely this car hadn't been driven slowly. You should know that having a M5 30 Jahre. If the car was then driven gently out to a motorway and then cruised along at 60-70mph for a while, the predicted range would likely increase initially as it became more efficient.

Despite VW's cock up the Diesel engine in a modern car DOES pollute less than the petrol equivalent, its 25-30% more economical too. My E91 320D can do 750 miles on tank and no it does not try suffocate small animals and children.

  38. I test drove a new 520D last weekend (It's all they had available) and what an amazing car. It was on run flats though and tyre roar was almost as bad as my E91 3 series on its run flats. Other than that I'd be completely nitpicking to fault the car.

If you replace turbos for eg. that place greater strain on internal components I can't how you can use any law that would force a manufacturer honour a warranty relating to a component that failed as a direct consequence of a non OEM part being installed. The "magnussen moss" warranty law almost certainly relates to aftermarket parts that have no impact or strain on the car and it's components, but are rather visual enhancements. Companies like Brabus, A C Schnitzer etc take over the warranty in some way and would replace or fix any failures relating to work they carried out. As Tim mentioned, part failure not relating to performance upgrades would still be honoured by the manufacturer.

  48. I saw a red and black Enzo in Christchurch Dorset yesterday. They had a super car display on the high street and what they called a "roarathon". They parked the Enzo next to an orange and carbon P1 (parked next to the Le mans winning Bentley race car). They also had a Mclaren F1 car there, but no one wants to talk about that ;) Anyway, the noise that Enzo made was epic.. especially compared to the P1 which sounds feeble in comparison. I couldn't even hear the Lambo SV Roadster over the Enzo :)
