  1. Tesla claim their Roadster that's due out soon...ish can do over 600 miles on a charge so why aren't they starting to filter those batteries out to their mainstream models? I'd rather have 300hp and 600+ miles of range in a model S or Model X than 600hp and 300 miles of range. 300 miles of EV range is nothing to be proud of. They're holding back so people will have to upgrade when a new iphone/xbox/playstation, I mean new model, is released.

  2. Tesla claim their new Roadster can do 600 miles on a charge. That will go some way to resolving the range issue if it filters down to mainstream models, but it doesn't resolve the issue of waiting for ages to recharge. The more EVs on the road the bigger the recharging issue will become.

  3. I'll miss diesel because I live in the real world where fuel economy matters. We don't live in Forza Horizon, we live in a world where running costs and range matter. My diesel gets almost 1200km/750 miles on a tank of fuel and that matters more than exhaust note and throttle response, because I live in the real world. What does your v8 get? How far can you go on a battery charge before you have to stop for 30-60 minutes?
