diy guy don’t be wet and salty. I bet you voted liberal in the last election and still can’t accept the result 😂 oh and the Top Gear drag result matches a different video in a different country where the Taycan won too. I guess they collaborated with TG and rigged that race too? 😂 grow up.

Nihal Dhillon who says this would be fair? There are always people moaning about favouritism on this channel. I’ve seen two different sets of races and in both videos the Porsche won. Why would this be any different? Tesla fanboys claim the races were rigged but then sore losers often say that.

Nitish Anand the problem with doing drag races on a runway in random temperatures is that it always favours the AWD cars. I guess it is more real world but it doesn’t give an accurate representation of each cars actual performance. In this case the 911 is clearly quicker over a 1/4 mile but it struggled for traction. On a drag strip AWD would give little advantage because the RWD car would have sufficient traction to launch to its maximum potential. On a sticky surface this 911 would comfortably beat the model 3 all day.

supaahflyy I agree with you regarding the real world aspect to the drag races however in that case, we can’t take these races as an accurate representation of the car’s performance because of all the external factors. For eg in this video the model 3 won the first race because of external factors not the fact that it’s quicker. Therefore in reality the result is 3-0 to the Porsche because the first race was an anomaly and the Porsche is scientifically proven to be quicker. In scientific terms the result of the first race would be excluded as an error. While it’s fun from a competitive aspect, and we love it, it’s not to be taken too seriously.
