Otto Sixpack if I'm not mistaken the batteries come with a ten year Tesla warranty. Chances are you wouldn't have a 90D for ten years anyway.

Michael Richards I see what you did there :)

carwow it also doesn't have only 400 odd hp like the 90D. Just because the two cars cost roughly the same doesn't make them comparable performance wise. The 570hp GTR was always doing to take a dump on the less powerful, heavier car. You should have used the P90D even though it's 10-15k more expensive :) in fact if you can arrange that test it would be awesome!

freibier If the point was determine whether you could buy the same performance from electricity for the money then you only need to look at the numbers. Even a simpleton should be able to determine that the heavier, less powerful car was going to lose before a wheel turned. You can pick up a low mileage highly specced P90D for just over £90k and a highly specced GTR MY17 is going to cost that. It would have been a more realistic comparison from a power to weight aspect and more fun :)

Yunus Kucukgöl you mean power to weight ratio. That is all this proved. Two AWD cars, one with more power, less weight and it wins. Nothing to do with petrol whatsoever. The P90D is every bit as quick to 100mph as the GTR and the P100D with ludicrous is faster.

Arya Pradhana D if you want a good review of the model X, Autogefuhl did a 1 hour in depth video review of it. Well worth watching if you're interested.

nazhif1 waiting idiots to miss the part where he already addressed why they didn't use the P100D.

Vibin p vijay no, power to weight won. This tesla has less power and is heavier than the GTR. It's purely physics, nothing to do with petrol.

Arya Pradhana D It's all the review you need ;)
