  5. games used to be fun for me but now that i know they are a distraction to make me forget how awful my life truly is i kind of just feel sad playing them i want that feeling when i was younger waiting for the midnight release coming home and playing all the way til morning no game has come out that has made me do that in a long time other than the resident evil 4 remake recently but still nothing really is new and fresh its all just stale or recycled now good games are just too rare and too far in between to make me care anymore im simply getting too old for it i still play them of course but after half n hour i let out a sigh and ask myself "is this really all my life is"? also videogames are supposed to be a side hobby after a fulfilling day but real life doesnt offer anything better so im kind of stuck with them to cope and like you said the years go by you see everyone else get married it starts to add a toll on you mentally bc really they arent that different from you they have the same hobbies and still game hell they might even game with eachother and when u see that it just sucks
