  4.  @thirdmeow2270  Nato doesn't work like that again, nato is not a country, the only way nato can expand is if sovereign country want to join themself, that's what every country did and so did finland, also if we talk about promises and stuff, russia accepted the budapest memorandum which says russia won't attack ukraine and will respect the borders, in exhange ukraine will give up their nuclear arsenal and now they clearly broke that agreement..

  6. not exactly, in the soviet fight against germany, they deliberately send ukrainians to the front lines which mean most soviets who died were ukrainians so let's not forget about this fact...

  12. mercenaries are people who fight for personal gain (literal definition of mercenary.) there are only volunteers who are not mercenaries btw... geneva states that as long as the unit is under the country it doesn't matter what nationality you have, so volunteers are legitimate fighters for ukraine and are protected as soldiers but russia doesn't respect geneva anyways as we all saw...
